SANITISE and STERILISE with ease. Just wave your magic wand!! This UVC Sanitser works to kill some germs and bacteria and prevents others from reproducing and causing infections. Simply power up and wave the rod over anything that needs to be regularly disinfected - files, tools, the base of your lamps, towels etc. HOW DOES IT WORK? UVC is part of the light spectrum that does not usually penetrate the earth's atmosphere. It is only available from artificially created sources, like lamps. The UVC rays are absorbed by the proteins in the bug cells and can rupture the cell walls and destroy the organism. It is also absorbed by the DNA and RNA of the organisms and this renders them sterile - they can no longer reproduce and therefore no longer spread infection.
