This is a great training course for teaching techniques for overlays and sculpting using the CRYSTAL
CLAWZ range of Gels.

This course is intended for new Technicians, or a refresher for those who have been away from the
industry for some time.

COURSE CONTENT

Our training will include both theory and hands on practical training to prepare you for starting up
your business.
Course Duration: 2 days

Your training will include the following:

• Diseases and contra-indications
• Professional Client Consultation
• Health & Safety
• Workstation & Environment
• Nail Preparation
• Builder Gel Application, (including reverse French)
• Sculpting with forms
• Maintenance & Removal

PRE-REQUIREMENT
Your Theory module will be emailed to you in advance, along with an open book test. You will need
to complete the test and bring it with you on the training day. As this is an open book test, you will
be required to achieve at least 90% to pass.

Thoroughly studying your manual in advance means that you will get more hands on practical time
in the classroom as theory will only be covered in summary.

ASSESSMENT & EXAM FEES
In order to receive your Certificate of Competence, you will be required to complete a Theory and
Practical Examination within 6 months of completing your training. A full, detailed portfolio of
evidence per course will be required prior to the examination to show that you completed your
practical work.

The examination fees, including assessment fees will be R625 and will be payable at least 72 hours
before the scheduled exam date. Should you fail your exams, you will be required to pay the full
assessment fee for a new examination and assessment.

Certificates of Competence will be issued only after the successful completion of the examination.

TRAINING KITS

All CRYSTAL CLAWZ courses include a complete training kit. This includes full salon size products,
tools, implements, files and a Training Manual.
We do not fill your kit with sample size products. The product supplied will be more than enough to
complete your course and examination, while still having product left over to use on clients. There
will be no need to purchase any additional products to complete your training.
